Our Awards
BMS is recognized excellence in providing total health and wellness, and quality care.
We are pleased to announce that in 2022 BMS Received the following Quality Awards:.
This dual designation – being both Joint Commission accredited and FQHC certified – indicates our facilities provide high-quality, evidence-based healthcare to medically underserved communities while meeting the same rigorous standards as other accredited healthcare organizations. It enhances our center’s credibility, which has facilitated partnerships with hospitals and health systems. The accreditation is voluntary yet demonstrates the BMS’s commitment to continuous quality improvement and patient safety beyond the basic requirements for FQHC designation from HRSA (Health Resources and Services Administration).
Community Development
BMS has grown from a single Rockway Avenue clinic to three clinical locations and seven specialized care points. Through partnerships with public, private, and community organizations, we invest in sustainable healthcare facilities to expand across our community.
